IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Have students work in small groups to prepare questions and answers about hypothetical situations in the present and future. Have the various groups interview each other using the questions they have prepared.
  2. Check comprehension of the Actualidades reading by asking students who Mario Molina is, what he is known for, and what his opinion is on global warming.
  3. Discuss the Actualidades Después de leer questions with the class.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Prepare steps A & B of Manos a la obra for use in class on Day 12.
  2. Study the Vocabulario.
  3. Write a paragraph about what we should do now to cut down on harmful emissions or to safeguard the natural environment. Use hypothetical statements.
