IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Put students in small groups. Review the uses
of the subjunctive presented in Lección 5 by having one student
choose a verb or expression from Estructura 5.1, 5.2, or 5.3; the
other students must create a sentence using the verb and expression, followed by
the subjunctive or indicative, as appropriate. Have students alternate
roles.
- Discuss the questions in Actualidades
Después de leer activity 1 with the class. Follow the anno in the IAE
to have students present their new last frame of the strip and have the class
guess what the text might say.
- Put students in small groups and have them
complete Actualidades Después de leer activity 2.
- Collect and correct students’ alternate
endings, which they wrote for Actualidades Después de leer
activity 1.
ASSIGNMENT
- Read Manos a la obra and prepare step
B in writing for use in class on Day 12.
- Study the
Vocabulario.
