IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Review Estructura 5.2 and work through
Comunicación activity 4 with the class. Follow the anno in the IAE
to expand the activity. Put students in pairs for activities 5 and 6. Remind
them of the spelling changes for –car and –gar verbs
(see anno in the IAE).
Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 5.3 with the class.
Present Estructura 5.4.
Have students work in small groups and read
the Exploración selection “Lo último” en
elgimnasio together.
Ask students the comprehension questions
found in the Additional Teaching Suggestions of the Instructor Resource Manual
for this Exploración selection.
Have students discuss the Coméntalo
questions. Encourage them to describe their own experiences that relate to
these issues. Have each group present their responses to the questions to the
class.
ASSIGNMENT
Study Estructura 5.4.
Prepare the Práctica activities
for Estructura 5.4 for oral work during the next class.
Read through the A conversar section
and prepare steps A & C in writing for use in the next
class.
