IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review the Vocabulario for
Lección 3 (p. 94) by having students create sentences in
the past tense.
- Put students in groups of three and have them
complete steps A and B of Manos a la obra (p. 91).
- Put students in pairs and have them prepare,
in writing, Después de leer question 2 (p. 93) for
Actualidades. Encourage students to use vocabulary from Lección
3 in their description. Have pairs exchange descriptions and peer correct
each other’s work.
- Follow the suggestion in the anno (IAE, p.
93) to have students write a short ad for a product they consider
nutritious.
ASSIGNMENT
- Finish writing the ad and illustrate it if
desired. Be prepared to present the ad to the class.
- Review Fotonovela (pp. 72–73)
and imagine another or alternate episode with these characters that would
incorporate the ad you have written.
- Prepare step C of Manos a la obra (p.
91) for Day 12.
