IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 3.4 (p. 88). Follow the anno on IAE, p. 89, to have students change prepositional phrases to adverbs.
  2. Collect students’ written narrations describing a party and correct them while students work in groups.
  3. Have students work in pairs to do Práctica y Comunicación activity 3 for Estructura 3.4 (p. 89). Have each pair act out their dialog for the class.
  4. Put students in groups of three and have them complete step D of A conversar (p. 90).
  5. Debrief A conversar by having the groups report their results to the whole class.
  6. Preview Actualidades (pp. 92–93), going over Antes de leer (p. 92) and starting to have students read the ad aloud in class.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read Actualidades (pp. 92–93) and prepare the Después de leer activities (p. 93).
  2. Go to the VENTANAS web site, prepare the Actualidades activity, and submit it electronically before the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS

  1. Prepare the Composición section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
