IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Have students work in small groups to prepare
questions and answers using the reflexive verbs and gustar and similar
verbs presented in Estructura 2.3 (pp. 54–55) and Estructura 2.4
(pp. 58–59). Encourage them to use the present progressive and object
pronouns. Have the various groups interview each other using the questions they
have prepared.
Check comprehension of the
Actualidades reading (pp. 64–65) by asking students some of the
test questions and asking about their test results.
Use Después de leer question 1
(p. 65) as the basis for a class discussion of the test and the value of such
tests.
ASSIGNMENT
Prepare steps A–C of Manos a la
obra (p. 63) for use in class on Day 12.
Study the Vocabulario (p.
66).
Write a paragraph to answer Después
de leer question 2 (p.
65).
