IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking students about the similarities and differences in the use of irony by Monterroso and Peri Rossi.
  2. Put students in small groups to discuss Atando cabos step 1.
  3. Present Atando cabos step 2. Have students follow the Plan de redacción to write their article.
  4. Ask for volunteers to read aloud their articles to the class.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Revise the article written for Atando cabos step 2.
  2. Examine the painting and quote on the Cultura section opener. Write a short paragraph interpreting either the picture or the quote.
