IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Put students in pairs and have them do Después de leer activity 4 for La mejor tinta. Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to have students discuss why writers do not accept being silenced.
  2. Present the vocabulary list for Continuidad de los parques, modeling the Spanish words and expressions.
  3. Discuss with the class the Conexión personal questions in Antes de leer for Continuidad de los parques. Encourage students to use the vocabulary just presented.
  4. Read the first paragraph of Continuidad de los parques with students. Make sure that students understand the setting and what is taking place.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read Antes de leer for Continuidad de los parques.
  2. Study the Vocabulario for Continuidad de los parques.
  3. Read Continuidad de los parques.
  4. Prepare Después de leer activity 1 for Continuidad de los parques for the next class
  5. Continue preparing the Literatura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 6.
