IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Warm up the class by asking question using
the vocabulary presented on p. 223 for Tiempo libre, p. 227 for La
indiferencia de Eva, and p. 256 for El milagro.
- Work through Después de leer
activities 1 and 2 for La indiferencia de Eva with the class. Follow the
suggestion in the anno in the IAE to ask students how Eva manipulated the
narrator.
- Put students in pairs for Después
de leer activity 3 for La indiferencia de Eva. Ask each pair to share
their ending with the class.
- Discuss with students how a woman writing
from a man’s perspective impacts the text. See the anno in the IAE on p.
228.
- Have students discuss Antes de ver el
corto in pairs.
- Collect and correct the paragraphs students
wrote for Después de leer activity 4 for La indiferencia de
Eva.
ASSIGNMENT
- Read Atando cabos and prepare step 1
in writing.
- Continue preparing the Literatura
activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically
before class on Day 6.
