Day 3

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Put students in small groups and have them do Después de leer activity 4 for Masa. Have students compare their opinions with Vallejo’s. Ask each group to summarize its discussion for the class.
  2. Put students in groups of three for Después de leer activity 5 for Masa. Have students read each other’s paragraphs and discuss their opinions. Ask each group to present the highlights of their discussion to the class.
  3. Present the vocabulary list for Dos palabras, modeling the Spanish words and expressions.
  4. Put students in small groups to discuss the Conexión personal questions in Antes de leer for Dos palabras. Encourage students to use the vocabulary just presented.
  5. Collect and correct the paragraphs students wrote for Después de leer activity 5 for Masa.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read Antes de leer for Dos palabras.
  2. Study the Vocabulario for Dos palabras.
  3. Begin reading Dos palabras. Read through line 85.
  4. Continue preparing the Literatura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 6.
