IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Have students work in groups on
Tertulia steps 1 and 2.
Have groups present their ideas to the class
(step 3). Then discuss the different opinions presented (step 4).
Discuss with the class the theme for
Lección 7, La economía y el trabajo. Ask
students to name various types of work. Why do people work? What importance does
money have in the decisions people make about work? What other factors are
important?
ASSIGNMENT
Examine the picture and read the quote on the
Literatura section opener for Lección 7. Use the Internet
or the library to learn more about Diego Rivera and Pablo Picasso. Write a
paragraph explaining your feelings about/opinions on either the quote or the
painting.
