IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Ask students whether reading La siesta changed their opinions in any way about the custom.
  2. Work through Después de leer activity 1 for La siesta with the class.
  3. Have students do Después de leer activity 2 for La siesta in pairs. Then put students in groups of four and have them complete activity 3.
  4. Show the video La hora de comer again. Put students in groups of four and have them work on Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8.
  5. Collect and correct the paragraphs students wrote for Después de leer activity 4 for La siesta.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Finalize Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8 and be prepared to present your version of the video for the class.
  2. Prepare Videoteca Después de ver el corto activities 7 and 9. Do activity 9 in writing.
  3. Continue preparing the Cultura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 12.
