IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Put students in pairs and have them complete
Después de leer activity 3 for Biografía. Have each
pair read aloud at least two examples for each illustration. Ask students to
consider which social norms are reinforced from one generation to the next and
why.
- In small groups, have students complete
Después de leer activity 4 for Biografía. Have each
group write their commands on the board and peer correct the
commands.
- Preview 1 x 1 = 1, pero 1 + 1 = 2.
Present the vocabulary list, modeling the Spanish words and
expressions.
- Present the Videoteca section. Play
the video without sound. Ask students how they think the video relates to the
lesson theme.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study the Vocabulario for 1 x 1 =
1, pero 1 + 1 = 2 and the Videoteca Vocabulario.
- Read Antes de leer for 1 x 1 = 1,
pero 1 + 1 = 2.
- Prepare Antes de ver el corto for oral
work during the next class.
- Continue preparing the Literatura
activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically
before class on Day 6.
