IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Direct students’ attention to Sobre
el autor. Ask them to which period of Celaya’s career they would
expect Biografía to belong.
Ask students to divide
Biografía into four stanzas. Have them identify the main subject
of each stanza. Have students read each stanza aloud and determine the
speaker’s attitude toward each set of commands (Análisis
literario). Ask them to compare their own attitudes and reactions to the
commands (Estrategia de lectura).
Work through Después de leer
activity 1 for Biografía with the class. Then put students in
pairs to complete activity
2.
ASSIGNMENT
Prepare Después de leer
activities 3 and 4 for Biografía for the next class.
Continue preparing the Literaturaactivity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically
before class on Day 6.
