IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Present the vocabulary list, modeling the
Spanish words and expressions, and do the Conexión personal
questions for Los españoles y el fútbol (p. 43) with the
class.
- Put students in small groups and ask them to
list all the characteristics of soccer that remind them of U.S. sports. Ask them
how the illustration (p. 43) fits into this discussion.
- Read aloud Los españoles y el
fútbol (pp.44–45) with the
class.
