IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Warm up the class by asking questions using
the vocabulary presented on p. 29 and p. 33.
- Discuss the Conexión personal
questions for Microcosmos III (p. 33) with the class.
- As suggested in the anno (IAE, p. 33), have
students make lists of different types of social events and describe how
participants in these events behave. Be sure that students discuss sporting
events.
- Have students read aloud the first two
paragraphs of Microcosmos III (p. 34). Then have students identify the
elements of humor and the details that appear in these two paragraphs. (Refer to
Análisis literario and Estrategia de lectura, p.
33.)
