Present the profile
on Carmen Lomas Garza and do the Conexión
personal questions (p. 15) in Antes de leer
with the class. Have students compare the party
depicted in Lomas Garza’s painting with their
own birthday parties. Encourage students to use
the vocabulary just presented.
Have students read
and discuss the Contexto cultural (p. 15)
in Antes de leer.
Show the video
Momentos de estación again and have
students complete VideotecaDespués
de ver el corto activity 4 (p. 25) in groups
of three.
Collect and correct
the letters students wrote for Atando cabos
step 3 (p. 13) and the paragraphs students wrote
