IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Warm up the class by asking questions using the vocabulary presented on p. 3 and p. 24. Introduce the Vocabulario from p. 7 and use it in questions.
  2. Put students in pairs and have them work through Antes de ver el corto (p. 24).
  3. Work through the Antes de leer section for Aqueronte. Do the Conexión personal questions (p. 7) with the class. Have students read the Contexto cultural (p. 7). Present Análisis literario and Estrategia de lectura (p. 7).
  4. Read the first paragraph of Aqueronte (pp. 8–9) with the class.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study the Vocabulario (p. 7).
  2. Read Aqueronte (pp. 8–11).
  3. Complete the mood chart in Análisis literario (p. 7).
  4. Prepare Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Aqueronte (p. 12) for the next class.
  5. Continue preparing the Literatura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before the end of class on Day 6.
