IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Have a few volunteers read aloud their paragraph for Después de leer activity 4 for Poema 20. Put students in pairs and have them imagine orally the same characteristics as they apply to the poet.
  2. Work through Después de leer activity 3 for Poema 20 (p. 6) with the class.
  3. Put students in pairs and have them complete Después de leer activity 5 for Poema 20 (p. 6). Have students present their dialogs to the class.
  4. Explain to students that every odd-numbered lesson is accompanied by a short video. Present the Videoteca section (pp. 24–25). Play the video without sound. Ask students how they think the video relates to the lesson theme.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study the Videoteca Vocabulario (p. 24).
  2. Prepare Antes de ver el corto (p. 24) for oral work during the next class.
  3. Continue preparing the Literatura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before the end of class on Day 6.
