IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Estructura 12.2 by providing
students with a noun, an infinitive, and a tense and having them construct a
sentence in the indicated tense.
- Have students begin
Comunicación activity 5 for Estructura 12.2 individually,
then work in pairs. Put students in pairs for activity 6 and in small groups for
activity 7.
- Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 12.3 with the class. Ask students to explain
their choice of mood and tense for each sentence.
- Put students in pairs to complete
Comunicación activity 4 for Estructura 12.3.
- Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE
to brainstorm as a class the socio-political circumstances that define each
period in Comunicación activity 5A for Estructura 12.3.
Then put students in pairs and have them work on the
activity.
ASSIGNMENT
- Finalize the dialogs for
Comunicación activities 4 and 5A for Estructura 12.3 and be
prepared to present them to the class.
- Do Comunicación activity 5B for
Estructura 12.3 in writing.
- Read and prepare A conversar for
discussion during the next class.
- Read Manos a la obra and prepare a
presentation on the history of independence of a Hispanic country for Manos a
la obra step B. Be prepared to make the presentation to the class on Day
8.
- Do step C of Manos a la obra in
writing for Day
8.
