Day 3

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Expresiones útiles by asking students questions using the expressions.
  2. Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to review the awards won by each character before putting students into small groups for Ampliación activity 4 for Fotonovela. Put students into pairs for activities 5, 6, 7, and 8.
  3. Work through the Práctica y Comunicación activities for Estructura 12.1 with the class. Students will work in pairs for activity 1.
  4. Present Estructura 12.2. Follow the suggestion in the IAE to review the concept of mood.
  5. Present Exploración. Focus students’ attention on the lead-ins to each reading, elicit their knowledge of the topics, and have them describe the photographs.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Study Estructura 12.2.
  2. Prepare the Práctica activities for Estructura 12.2 for oral work during the next class.
  3. Read Exploración and be prepared to discuss the questions in Coméntalo.
  4. Go to the VENTANAS web site and prepare the Exploración activities to be submitted electronically before class on Day 5.

  1. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 12.2 in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual.
  2. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 12.2 in the lab manual section of the Student Activities Manual in conjunction with the Lab Audio CD or MP3 Files Audio CD-ROM.
  3. Do the corresponding exercises for Estructura 12.2 on the VENTANAS CD-ROM.
  4. Do the corresponding Exploración activity on the VENTANAS CD-ROM.
