IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
Check comprehension of the Actualidades
reading using the comprehension questions suggested in the anno in the
IAE.
Discuss the Después de leer
questions with students. Put students in pairs for question 1 and in small
groups for question 2. Have each pair and group present its opinions to the
whole class.
Put students in groups of three to read and
peer review each other’s news stories. Then have students read their news
story to the class. Encourage students to ask questions on each story and to
discuss for which type of periodical each “reporter”
works.
Announce the quiz on Lección 9
to be given during the next class and explain what material will be
covered.
ASSIGNMENT
Study for the quiz on Lección
9.
Finish writing the movie review for Manos
a la obra and bring the resulting review to the next
class.
