IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Review Expresiones útiles by
asking students questions using the expressions.
- Follow the anno to review verbs like
gustar and how they function. Work through Ampliación
activity 4 for Fotonovela with the class. Have students do activity 5 in
pairs and activity 6 in small groups.
- Work through the Práctica
activities for Estructura 9.1 with the class. Follow the anno in the
IAE to extend activity 3.
- Present Estructura 9.2. Follow the
suggestions in the IAE to review irregular past participles and verbs that
convey uncertainty.
- Present Exploración. Focus
students’ attention on the lead-ins to each reading, elicit their
knowledge of the topics, and have them describe the
photographs.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study Estructura 9.2.
- Prepare the Práctica activities
for Estructura 9.2 for oral work during the next class.
- Read Exploración and be
prepared to discuss the questions in Coméntalo.
