IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Discuss the questions in Actualidades
Después de leer activity 1 with the class. Follow the anno in the IAE
to have students present their new last frame of the strip and have the class
guess what the text might say.
- Put students in small groups and have them
complete Actualidades Después de leer activity 2.
- Put students in pairs and have them prepare
Actualidades Después de leer activity 3. Each pair will present
its dialog to the class. Encourage students to use the grammar and vocabulary
from Lección 5 in their dialogs.
- Collect and correct students’ alternate
endings, which they wrote for Actualidades Después de leer
activity 1.
- Announce the quiz on Lección 5
to be given during the next class and explain what material will be
covered.
ASSIGNMENT
- Study for the quiz on Lección
5.
- Finish step B of Manos a la obra and
bring the resulting written advice to the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
- Prepare the Escritura section on the
VENTANAS CD-ROM.
- Provide students with the
Práctica exercises from the Additional Activities for
Lengua found in the Instructor’s Resource
Manual.
