Check comprehension of the
Actualidades reading (pp. 64–65) by asking students some of the
test questions and asking about their test results.
Use Después de leer question 1
(p. 65) as the basis for a class discussion of the test and the value of such
tests.
Redirect attention back to the reading topic
with Después de leer question 2 (p. 65). Encourage students to use
vocabulary from Lección 2 in their discussion.
Put students in small groups for
Después de leer question 3 (p. 65).
Announce the quiz on Lección 2
to be given during the next class and explain what material will be
covered.
ASSIGNMENT
Study for the quiz on Lección
2.
Finish steps A–C of Manos a la
obra (p. 63) and bring the resulting questionnaire to the next class.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
Prepare the Escritura section on the
