IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Review Estructura 1.2 (pp. 18–19) and have students do Comunicación exercises 4 and 5 in pairs and Comunicación exercise 6 in small groups (p. 21).
  2. Have students do Práctica exercise 1 for Estructura 1.3 in pairs. Work through Práctica exercises 2 and 3 with the class (p. 24).
  3. Put students in pairs and have them do the Comunicación activities for Estructura 1.3 (p. 25).
  4. Work through the Práctica activities for Estructura 1.4 with the class (p. 28).
  5. Have students do the Comunicación activity for Estructura 1.4 (p. 28) in pairs and then have each pair present its interview to the whole class.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Read through A conversar (p. 30) and prepare steps A & B in writing for use in the next class.
  2. Prepare steps A–C of the Manos a la obra project (p. 31) for use in class on Day 8.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE OPTIONS
  1. Read the Lectura section in the workbook section of the Student Activities Manual and do the corresponding activities.
