- Present the
vocabulary list (p. 3), modeling the Spanish
words and expressions.

with the class. Have students provide sentences
with the words defined in exercise 1.
- Preview Fotonovela

(pp. 6–7).
ASSIGNMENT
- Study the
lesson vocabulary (pp. 2–3). Select
10 vocabulary words and create Spanish definitions
for them.
- Read Fotonovela
(pp. 6–7) and watch the video episode

- Prepare the

(p. 8) for oral work during the next class.
