IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Have students discuss Antes de ver el
corto in pairs. Show the video, with sound. As a class, complete the
Mientras ves el corto activity. Replay any portion of the video needed to
correct the Mientras ves el corto activity.
- Present the painting and quote on the
Cultura section opener. Use the suggestions found in Additional
Teaching Suggestions for Lecturas in the Instructor’s Resource
Manual.
- Present the vocabulary list for Perfil:
Jeff Bezos, modeling the Spanish words and expressions. Put students in
small groups and have them discuss Conexión personal.
- Discuss Atando cabos step 1 with the
class. Put students in pairs to work on step 2 and in small groups to discuss
step 3. Follow the suggestions in the annos in the IAE to expand steps 2 and
3.
- Present Atando cabos step 4. Go over
the Plan de redacción with
students.
ASSIGNMENT
- Prepare the Videoteca

writing.
- Prepare Atando cabos steps 2 and 4 for
the next class. Be prepared to present the conversations for step 2 to the
class. Do step 4 in writing.
