IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Have students work in groups on
Tertulia steps 1 and 2.
- Have groups present their ideas to the class
(step 3). Then discuss the different opinions presented (step 4).
- Discuss with the class the theme for
Lección 10, La literatura y el arte. Ask students what they
think the importance of literature and art is to the modern world. Is it true
that a civilized society fosters and supports writers and artists? What criteria
should be used to evaluate literature and
art?
ASSIGNMENT
- Examine the picture and read the quote on the
Literatura section opener for Lección 10. Write a paragraph
discussing the view of literature and art presented in either the quote or the
painting.
