IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Ask pairs to present the interviews they prepared for Atando cabos step 2.
  2. Work through Videoteca Después de ver el corto activities 3 and 5 with the class. Put students in pairs to discuss activity 4. As a class, discuss the various ideas for the theme of El milagro and decide on the principal theme. Put students in pairs to complete activity 6 and to begin work on activity 8.
  3. Ask students to tell you about Carmen Maura’s life and career.
  4. Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 for Perfil: Carmen Maura with the class. Put students in pairs for activity 3; have each pair share its ideas with the class.
  5. Put students in small groups for Después de leer activity 4 for Perfil: Carmen Maura. Students will use the information they found on the Franco dictatorship and the transition to democracy to complete the activity.
  6. Collect and correct the reviews students wrote for Atando cabos step 3 and the sentences and invitations students wrote for Videoteca Después de ver el corto activities 7 and 9.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Finalize Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 8. Be prepared to present the new endings to the class.
  2. Study the Vocabulario for Los talk shows: fascinación o rechazo.
  3. Read Antes de leer and Los talk shows: fascinación o rechazo. Prepare the Después de leer activities for the next class.
  4. Go to the VENTANAS web site and prepare the Cultura activity to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
