IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Ask students to tell you about Rubén

- If possible, play some recordings by

activity 1 for Perfil: Rubén Blades with the class.
- Put students in pairs and have them do
Después de leer activity 2 for Perfil: Rubén Blades.
Extend the activity by using the suggestions in the anno in the IAE.
- Begin the Antes de leer section for
La nostalgia de Dios. Present the vocabulary list, modeling the Spanish
words and expressions. Discuss the Conexión personal questions
with the class.
- Collect and correct the articles that
students wrote for Atando cabos step

ASSIGNMENT
- Study the Vocabulario for La
nostalgia de Dios.
- Read the Contexto cultural and La
nostalgia de Dios. Write a short paragraph explaining the meaning of the
last paragraph.
- Prepare the Después de leer
activities for La nostalgia de Dios for the next class. Do activity 4 in
writing.
- Go to the VENTANAS web site and
prepare the Cultura activity to be submitted electronically before
class on Day 8.
