IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
- Present Caravana de sal. Present the
vocabulary list, modeling the Spanish words and expressions, and have students
complete Conexión personal in pairs.
- Work through Después de leer
activity 1 for Caravana de sal with the class. Have students do
Después de leer activity 2 for Caravana de sal in small
groups. Each group will present its conclusions to the class.
- Show the video Correo celestial for
the final time.
- Put students in pairs to complete
Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 7.
- Have students present their alternate ending
for the video (Después de ver el corto activity 8).
- Present the Estrategia de
comunicación in Abriendo ventanas. As suggested in the anno in
the IAE, bring in Spanish language business-oriented publications to aid
students in brainstorming.
- Collect and correct the paragraphs students
wrote for Después de leer activity 3 for Caravana de
sal.
ASSIGNMENT
- Have groups prepare their Abriendo
ventanas presentations for the next class.
- Continue preparing the Cultura
activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically
before class on Day 8.
