Day 6

IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Present Caravana de sal. Present the vocabulary list, modeling the Spanish words and expressions, and have students complete Conexión personal in pairs.
  2. Work through Después de leer activity 1 for Caravana de sal with the class. Have students do Después de leer activity 2 for Caravana de sal in small groups. Each group will present its conclusions to the class.
  3. Show the video Correo celestial for the final time.
  4. Put students in pairs to complete Videoteca Después de ver el corto activity 7.
  5. Have students present their alternate ending for the video (Después de ver el corto activity 8).
  6. Present the Estrategia de comunicación in Abriendo ventanas. As suggested in the anno in the IAE, bring in Spanish language business-oriented publications to aid students in brainstorming.
  7. Collect and correct the paragraphs students wrote for Después de leer activity 3 for Caravana de sal.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Have groups prepare their Abriendo ventanas presentations for the next class.
  2. Continue preparing the Cultura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
