activity 1 for La siesta with the class. Have students do
Después de leer activity 2 for La siesta in pairs. Then put
students in groups of four and have them complete activity 3.
Show the video La hora de comer for
the final time.
Put students in pairs to complete
VideotecaDespués de ver el corto activity 7.
Have each student group present its version
of the video (VideotecaDespués de ver el corto activity
8).
Present the Estrategia de
comunicación in Abriendo ventanas. Then have students work in
groups on their presentations. Follow the suggestions in the annos in the IAE to
make sure that different groups present different countries and to help students
focus on similar information across groups.
Collect and correct the paragraphs students
wrote for Después de leer activity 4 for La siesta and the
letters they wrote for VideotecaDespués de ver el corto
activity 9.
ASSIGNMENT
Have groups prepare their Abriendo
ventanas presentations for the next class.
Continue preparing the Culturaactivity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically
before class on Day 8.
