IN-CLASS ACTIVITIES
  1. Ask students what they think the difference might be between turismo real and real turismo. Make sure they know the double meaning of real (real/royal) and that they understand that placement of an adjective before or after a noun can change its meaning.
  2. Work through Después de leer activities 1 and 2 with the class. Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to have students use the subjunctive after impersonal expressions as they discuss the reading.
  3. Put students in small groups to discuss Después de leer activity 3. Have each group present its conclusions to the class.
  4. Put students in pairs for Después de leer activity 4. Follow the suggestion in the anno in the IAE to extend the activity and practice comparatives and superlatives.
  5. Present the Estrategia de comunicación section in Abriendo ventanas. Then have students work in groups on their presentations.
ASSIGNMENT
  1. Have groups prepare their Abriendo ventanas presentations for the next class.
  2. Continue preparing the Cultura activity from the VENTANAS web site to be submitted electronically before class on Day 8.
